A Little About Us
Hi! We’re Anna & Trevor, the creators behind Delightful Travellers.
For years we’ve been sharing our travels around the world on YouTube, but the Dominican Republic has become one of our favourite places. We spend much of the year living on the north coast, exploring the beaches, restaurants, towns, hotels, and hidden gems while answering thousands of questions from our viewers.
Over time we’ve realized that so many people are asking the same questions:

Which beach is best?
Is this area safe?
Which restaurants are actually worth visiting?
How do I rent a car?
What do I need before I arrive?
What’s it really like to live here?
Instead of answering those questions one at a time, we decided to build the resource we always wished existed.

Our home base is the north coast, so many of our resources currently focus on places like Cabarete, Sosúa, Puerto Plata, Río San Juan, Cabrera, and the surrounding area.
You’ll also find information on Las Terrenas, and we’ll continue expanding into more destinations across the country over time.
Even if you’re travelling elsewhere in the Dominican Republic, many of our travel tips, planning resources, and practical guides will still be incredibly useful.
