We're in Seoul, South Korea for the first time and eating Korean street food. We're headed to one of the most popular (and oldest) markets in all Seoul called Gwangjang Market. While at the market we’ll be trying a bunch of traditional and typical Korean street food dishes including Bindae-tteok (Mung Bean Pancake), Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes), Korean Fried Chicken, Kal-guksu (knife-cut noodle soup), Mandu (Dumplings), Hodo Kwaja (walnut cake) and Honey Hotteok (pancake).
Today we're so excited to finally try Bangkok street food for the first time. We love Thai food but this is our first visit to Thailand! Bangkok is very famous for its amazing street food and we can't wait to start eating our way through the city to try some of the best street food in the world. We stayed in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok and tried various street food such as pork balls with egg noodles and Mango Sticky Rice.
Since we are in the Dominican Republic, we decided to try some amazing local food (and Caribbean food) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We made our way around the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial) of Santo Domingo to try a bunch of different dishes, including some traditional Dominican foods, desserts and some higher-end dishes.

Today we plan to head out and try a whole bunch of Puerto Rican Dishes. First up we head to a more local restaurant called Bebo’s Cafe. Here we try an array of smaller Puerto Rican dishes including Bacalaitos, Empanadillas, Tostones and Asopao
Our food tour in Romania, Bucharest was epic. We ate a mix of traditional Romanian food as well some international dishes. We started off by tasting Covrigi which is essentially a Romanian version of a pretzel. Then, we tried a hot dog with some interesting additions. After this, we headed to a place we had seen in the city that only serves fries called Cartofisserie. After taking a bit of a break we headed out to a small street food shop to get some pork tacos. Finally, we finished things off with a tasty Nutella dessert.
We have come to one of the most recommended places in Vietnam, the city of Hội An. We’re spending the day eating only Vietnamese food. We’re going to some of the most popular restaurants like Morning Glory, Bánh Mì Phuọng and Raw Coffee. We are eating various delicious dishes that we recommend you try whenever you visit Hội An.
In the Philippines, Manila, we ate some delicious street food and explored the city. Exploring Manila for the first time was pretty fun. We came to the central market which is a night market. It has loads of food, Filipino dishes and some international dishes. The market was full of different food choices.
Our home base is Halifax and we therefore spend a significant amount of time there, especially during the pandemic and lockdown when all the restaurants and shops were closed. However, once things reopened we decided it’s time for a Halifax waterfront street food tour. Summer is the perfect time to explore Halifax and the waterfront is a must visit! We are about to try some delicious Halifax street food.
